Research at the heart of ENSIC

Almost all the professors-researchers at ENSIC work in a research laboratory on the site, whether it is the LRGP (Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés) or the LCPM (Laboratoire de Chimie-Physique Macromoléculaire).

These 2 research laboratories are under the supervision of the CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique) and the Université de Lorraine are implemented on site.

Two laboratories work on common objectives

The LRGP and the LCPM work closely together around two goals:

  • the development of processes in an innovative approach, processes’ preparation and tomorrow’s products;
  • the design of products and materials from the scale of molecules to the properties’ uses, through synthetic strategies to physicochemical properties studies.

Next to the laboratories, the Centre de Promotion des Procédés dans l'Industrie (PROGEPI) offers research services to companies in the fields of processes and the environment.
