Laboratoire de Chimie-Physique Macromoléculaire (LCPM)

The LCPM  develops research in accordance with an interdisciplinary scientific approach in which (macro) molecules of original structure and architecture are designed, synthesized and characterized in order to obtain functional and self-organising properties which find applications essentially in three areas: health, specialty materials and processes.

LCPM's research activities are based on several areas of expertise:

  • The synthesis of amino acids, peptides and pseudo-peptides
  • The detection and the study of weak interactions by spectroscopic methods
  • The synthesis of macromolecules with well-controlled architecture
  • The study of colloidal suspensions and the self-organisation of polymers and molecules in aqueous and organic solution
